Biography for Director Thor Gold

Thor Gold has the distinction of being the only Jewish “Thor” working in Hollywood. He is an award-winning director whose four short films - each in a different genre – have played in film festivals. His latest short Something True is currently playing the festival circuit – twenty festivals and counting. He has also worked as an assistant editor, 1st and 2nd AD, producer, film editor, 2nd unit director and an actor in theatre and film, most recently co-starring in a play with Spider-Man’s James Franco. Thor is currently adapting his noir thriller Something True into a feature screenplay.
